Dr Gary Shepherd

Dr Gary Shepherd is the Chief Executive Officer of Qscan Group and a radiologist. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2000, graduating with First Class Honors, and was awarded a University Medal for Scholastic Achievements.

Gary’s internship was completed at the Gold Coast Hospital in 2001, and this was followed by a position as a Registrar in Orthopaedics and Intensive Care in 2002-2003.

Before Gary studied medicine, he completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1996.

Musculoskeletal Radiology, with training covering all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging including sports injuries, degenerative and inflammatory processes, image guided spinal and joint injections, and bone/ soft tissue tumours, 2008

Dr Tanya Wood

MBBS, FRANZCR

Dr Tanya Wood joined Qscan Radiology Clinics in 2009. She is the Chief Medical Officer for Qscan Group and was previously a Qscan board member. Tanya completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 1996, followed by her Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists training at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

Ben Falvey

Ben Falvey has held senior finance roles with Qscan Group since 2018.

Ben held the role of General Manager of Finance prior to moving into the role of Group Chief Financial officer in 2023.

Ben has over twenty years’ experience in corporate finance, leadership and performance roles across a number of sectors, including health, retail and consulting, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. 

Simon Button

Simon Button has been a senior leader in the ICT space at Qscan Group since 2021, leading digital and technological strategy and innovation.

Simon oversees all aspects of information, data, technology, security, process, project and solutions align to support the best experience for our teams, patience and referrers.

Simon has significant executive level experience in business transformation, digital and ICT leadership across a number of sectors in Australia, the US and Europe, including publicly listed, private enterprise and start-up environments. 

Vik Mahajan

Vik Mahajan is Qscan Group’s Chief People Officer. He joined Qscan Group in 2023.  

He is a skilled senior People and Culture executive with strategic and operational HR experience gained across a range of national professional services organisations.  

Vik has over fifteen years’ industry experience, across health, ICT, retail, energy and educational organisations.
